On July 2, at about 17:20, at the 445th kilometer of the Chui tract (near the airport), a Nissan Wingroad car collided with a Yamaha motorcycle.
The accident occurred due to the fact that the driver of a foreign car – a 56-year-old resident of Gorno–Altaysk - drove into the oncoming lane at the intersection of uneven roads. As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver, a 27–year-old resident of the Maiminsky district, died at the scene before the ambulance arrived.
