According to preliminary information, the traffic police crew on duty on the highway R255 "Siberia" noticed a foreign car traveling at high speed from the direction of the village of Bolshaya Elan. The driver of the car ignored the inspector's demand to stop and tried to escape, repeatedly making dangerous maneuvers and creating by his actions a real threat to life and health of other road users. When overtaking the truck, the car went to the side of the road, as a result of which the vehicle lost control and was driven into the oncoming traffic lane, where a tractor-trailer was traveling at that moment.
As a result of the collision, the driver and four passengers of the foreign car died on the spot.
