On a Saturday evening, at 19:40, girls aged 14 and 15 were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. They were hit by the driver of a Toyota car - a man born in 1963, a resident of Pyatigorsk.
According to “360” , a 14-year-old schoolgirl died on the spot from her injuries, a 15-year-old girl died in a hospital in the city of Georgievsk. It is noted that the driver has already been prosecuted for violating traffic rules over 40 times.
“Police officers have established that previously the driver of a foreign car was brought to administrative responsibility more than 40 times for traffic violations, most of which were exceeding the speed limit,” additional information is provided.
