A teenager was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle and two cars on Jalan Parit Botak, Kampung Parit Nipah here on Friday.
Batu Pahat District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ismail Dollah said the 16 -year -old died at the scene believed to have suffered serious head injuries.
“We received information about the accident around 10.20am from the public."
"The accident was believed to have occurred around 10am when a teenager riding a Honda Wave motorcycle from Jalan Kluang headed towards Kampung Parit Raja Darat via Parit Botak Road."
"When the teenager arrived at the scene of the back of the back of the Perodua Ativa -type car coming from the opposite direction entering the intersection of Kampung Parit Nipah Darat.
"As a result of the collision the teenage motorcycle lost control and entered the opposite lane and collided with a Perodua Myvi -type car," he said on Friday.
Ismail said the teenager suffered serious injuries to the head died at the scene. Both the drivers, the 43 and 46-year-olds, were not injured.
