A tourist bus backing up on a highway? What logic is going through your head that it's better to reverse on a highway than to turn around? 60mph speeds mean you go 88 feet per second... means even if Mr. Truck Driver had perfect situational awareness he'd go at least 100' before the brakes engage and then stopping a truck takes at least 350' assuming highway speed... so... yeah... physics is just a good idea, it's the law. I'm shocked the only death was the poor truck driver, the bus driver needs a stern talking to about his decision making...
