At about 7 o'clock this morning, a man surnamed Liu was driving by the entrance of Toyota Industrial Zone in Yunlin County. He was suspected of not paying attention to the situation of the vehicle in front of him and hit 4 vehicles and 1 motorcycle that were waiting at a red light, causing the passenger car to overturn. A fire broke out, killing one and injuring four. The cause of the accident is yet to be clarified by the police.

The Yunlin County Fire Department received a report from the public at 7:49 a.m. that a major car accident occurred at the entrance of Toyota Industrial Zone, Section 3, Yanping Road, Dapi Township. Dounan, Dapi, Huwei and other units were dispatched, and a total of 4 fire trucks were dispatched. Department, 4 ambulances and 13 firefighters went to the rescue.

The police said that the man surnamed Liu was driving south to north on Highway 1 and passing through the intersection of Toyota Industrial Park. He was suspected of not paying attention to the situation in front of the car and chased into a vehicle stopped in front of him at a red light, causing four injuries and one death. The driving alcohol test values of Liu, Zhuang and others were 0, and the exact cause of the accident needs to be clarified. The whole case was brought to justice as a result of negligence causing death.
