Don't think so. The biker was too smart for that.

Did you notice the poor meek gf/wife sitting there listening to the asshole rant?

I bet she has a terrible life at home.

It's much harder to get out than most people understand - especially men.

I'm one of, I think, one of the few men who understand - because I was a "battered wife."

I had a gf (a psychopath) who assaulted me multiple times - but after I broke up with her a bunch of times, she'd call me a week later and I was maybe a bit bored and lonely, and she'd be nice - and the really WEIRD thing about it is just how quickly you forget how bad it was.

It's strange - how the psychology of it works.

I'm sure 98 or 99% of men have no ability to understand or empasize with women being abused.

They can't comprehend why women just don't leave.

Maybe 20 to 40% of women will understand abused women. I'm guessing on the stats.

Ye I get what you mean, but after a certain amount of abuse, they have to leave, right?

Many women feel helpless. They don't have a job, they don't have money. They don't have any place to go to.

Not everybody has family to help - or friends.

One thing many abusers do is isolate their victim from other people. There are some awful stories of assholes who prevent their wife/gf from seeing friends or even going out.

It's hard to appreciate until you've read what it's like for some women.

Too many don't feel they have the power or ability to leave.

And it's probably worse for women who grew up in a home where dad beat/abused mom.

That example makes those girls go out and choose a guy like dad. Sad. But true.

And these poor girls don't know any other way.

All they've seen in their life is abuse.

They can't imagine anything different.

It's what they learned is normal. To be expected.

And - strangely, it may make them feel comfortable.

Yep, abusers do a good job in finding the vulnerable people. The gov should make a scheme or smth where they can give such women jobs so that they can work and leave such relationships.
