Azamgarh: A tragic accident took place on the Purvanchal Expressway on Friday afternoon. A speeding bike rider collided with a truck. Immediately after this accident, the bike caught fire. When the bike rider fell on the road, he could not separate himself from the bike. In a short while, he got engulfed in flames along with the bike. The bike rider was burnt alive on the expressway. People from nearby areas reached the spot but did not get a chance to save the bike rider.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon. It is said that a bike rider was going at a high speed from Azamgarh to Lucknow on the Purvanchal Expressway. During this time, the bike rider collided directly with a truck. As soon as the bike collided with the truck, it caught fire. After the strong collision, the bike rider fell down, by then the bike started burning. The bike rider remained pressed down and the flames of fire surrounded him. The injured bike rider could not save himself and started burning alive on the expressway. People from the vicinity reached shortly after the accident, by then half of the bike rider's body had been burnt. There was no trace of the bike left. After receiving the information, Ahraula police also reached the spot.
