The whole suit is made of leather. That is the full leather part explained, it's good for riding because if you fall off and slide on the road, you won't sustain as much "road rash" or damage from skin sliding on asphalt. The air bag part is that the entire suit has a feature that deploys when a crash occurs where special air pockets inside the suit are instantly inflated and help reduce impact damage.
