Excellent question! Doctor here, the answer is complicated. On one hand leg? there doesn't seem to be to much internal damage of the bone structure and ligaments. His femoral artery looks to be intact as well. However with the loss of so much skin doing a skin graft may not be an option. Although there is a process known as dehydrochloride sepsis cleanser which may be used to clean his skin which has been de-gloved. Time is of the essence however and he will still need to be on a steady round of antibiotics thereafter. The other very important thing you must realize is I'm not a doctor at all. Everything I've just said has been completely pulled from my ass but tbh it sounds legit enough and right now you're either laughing, cursing me out, or both. I hope this helps you understand nothing and I'm super happy if I've given you a laugh.
