In Sunday, Lisandro Boxler, driver of the "Los Troncos" category, lost his life in the middle of a race in Esperanza, Santa Fe, after losing control of his car in a curve and crashing into an abandoned meat packing plant.

Boxler, who was driving a Ford Escort in the race, was touched by the car behind him, which caused the vehicle to destabilize and the driver lost control. Boxler died on the way to the hospital, according to Cadena 3.

The driver was 37 years old and was a native of Bovril, Entre Ríos, although he was based in the Santa Fe town of San Jerónimo Norte. In addition to competing in motor racing, he was also a wrestler.

On the other hand, from the Los Troncos category said goodbye to Boxler through their networks: "Farewell Lisandro. In this hard moment we join the pain of his family and friends, extending our most sincere condolences".

Three days before the tragic accident, the driver had posted a video to his personal Instagram account where he showed how his car had been left after it was fixed and tuned up to compete. "You came back to life," he had expressed.

In addition, the release was accompanied by the song "The Sound of silence" by the U.S. band Disturbed.

Possibly, but they're supposed to anticipate everything. It seems to me that this does no harm even in the event of rain. The problem is adapting the cars to the circuit, if you know what I mean.

Elle a eu, si tu regarde bien, un contact à l'arrière avec l'avant d'une autre voiture. C'est l'accrochage qui a causé l'accident mais cela a donc fait perdre le controle du véhicule.

The most shocking part is that they are rich enough to have "multiple" cars

and enough oil to run them in Argentina. :marseyflagargentina:

Such a pointless, stupid accident: who can get excited at speeding in such silly wacky racers?

Maybe a real car would have saved his life?

This guy looks like Argentina's economy - running out of control only to smash into a wall at full speed. Good times!
