According to the press service of the Karaganda Region Police Department, the accident occurred at the 931st kilometer of the Kyzylorda-Pavlodar highway, near the village of Dubovka. At a tight turn at 22:23 Audi, Chevrolet Cobalt and Toyota Previa did not share the road.
As a result of the accident, four passengers and the 22-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Cobalt died of their injuries. The 21-year-old driver of the Audi, his 17-year-old passenger and the 39-year-old passenger of the Toyota Previa were taken to a medical facility.
"A criminal case has been instituted. Appropriate expert examinations have been appointed. Police Department of Karaganda region reminds drivers of the need to comply with traffic rules. After all, the life of all road users depends on it", - reported in the police.
The press service of the Health Department of Karaganda region commented on the condition of the hospitalized. According to the department, two victims are in the hospital in a stable serious condition. The rest have been released for outpatient treatment.

Some blame the accident on the driver who drove out to overtake on the opposite side of the road, while others write about the lack of markings and lighting on this site.
