You can see in the first clip that the truck caught fire almost immediately. This is because of the sudden braking.
Of course, breaking too suddenly and harshly can cause this no matter brake condition, but the vehicle becomes more prone to catching fire when the brakes are worn out, or contaminated with oil or grease.
