germany, 6/3/2019.
a 68 year old man driving his audi RS6 in the A81 motorway near Mundelsheim in Baden-Württemberg, towards Stuttgart was driving at over 315 km/h of speed, when he suddenly became the protagonist of an atrocious car accident.
according to the reconstruction of events, a truck in front of the audi switched to the middle lane. the truck's rear lights weren't working when the crash occured, so the person driving the audi didn't see the truck and noticed it too late so he didn't have time to brake. his car ramped off the semi truck and he got catapulted into the air, before furiously slamming into a bridge pier and shattering.
the audi literally warped around the steel beam in a way that the car was split in two parts. some of the car's pieces were found even 50 meters far from the crash. the driver was thrown from the cockpit of his car to the road, and the emergency services could only determine his death: while some pics actually show his condition was worse. in fact, the man got literally decapitated by the iron sheets, his head was found a few centimeters from the body and some of his body parts were found separately, such as his hand, arm, and even clothing items such as one of his shoes - retrieved right next to the crashed car.
in order to recover the crashed vehicle, the fire brigade had to use hydraulic rescue shears.
the man was allegedly drunk while driving , but even if he was drunk, this happened in germany, where driving at extreme speed is allowed in highways.
after the accident, the A81 had to be completely closed for 5 hours and it took the rescues approximately 45 minutes to retrieve all of the car's debris and the victim's remains.

you'd think enough time has passed that they would release the identity of the man who was behind the wheel, things like this are important information, for honoring the memory of the brave soul, for situations like what if this man has family overseas they will never ever get closure, we are all left wondering who was the life that was taken, unfortunately we may never know, this could be my uncle or sum but there is no information to the actual event, the ONLY information we have to go off is a speeding RS6 hit the back of a truck flew over the bridge n landed wrapping around an autobahn roadsign, which is very, very vague, especially for a road incident, they have special forensics to determine the events before the crash, either the german police are withholding information, they truly do not care about situations like these since it seems as if its the person who dieds problem not theirs, or they just really are that ignorant over there in Europe which is very surprising, you really don't wanna do your job correctly? if this was America the whole strip of road would be shut down and officers would line the road for days, atleast 48 hours, to get a proper idea of what had occured, they might just be looking to prosecute somebody, whoever might have been involved but survived, but atleast they are doing their job properly and trying to get to the bottom of it and make sure no information goes untold, making sure the mystery is solved and the situation can be put to rest, maybe they only care about views in Europe and thats why its useless information all over youtube and tiktok the most evil social media sites there are (this was a rant, whoops, some of it is fax tho) theres not enough information to put 2 and 2 together, THERE SHOULD NOT BE A MYSTERY HERE, what is there to hide.

i too would LOVE to know more abt this case since they told me the info is combined from two diff cases and i don't really know what to do because they're labeled as the same case? i dont like my posts to spread incorrect info and i too would like to know the truth behind the mistery. i asked for help with the documentation of this situation and as of now nobody really helped me out so... at least knowing the identity of the man should be enough but no??? still found anything

This is actually not true. There are only sections of the highway without speed limit. And even in those sections you are not allowed to speed, because it's endangerment of yourself and others. Sure, some see a not explicitly stated max limit as a ticket to drive however they feel like but police is actually after people like that.
This is even more so the case in bad weather conditions. A lot of sections nowadays also have digital signs that will dynamically change based on various factors.
