Jane Wicker was a wing walker which is, well, what it sounds like. She walked on the wings of planes as they flew and performed tricks. On June 22nd, 2013 Jane and her pilot, Charlie Schwenker, were killed in a fiery crash.
23 seconds in and the announcer tells the crowd "Jane is going to disappear from us" ooof. How right he was.
What I've always found really interesting though about this crash is that cameras on the ground caught her exact final moment when she hit the ground. I will include some pics in a comment.

Might not be the same sport as walking on the wings of a plane, but I’m a professional skateboarder, and the feeling she undoubtedly got from her passion is absolutely comparable. I skate off of roofs for a living, and I’ve been hurt many, many times - but, I keep coming back to it - not specifically for the thrill, but because it’s something you’re just ‘born with’. Something you feel totally lost, without. It’s part of you. It’s really hard to explain. From actors, to stuntmen, to pro skaters, to wing walkers - nobody wakes up that day expecting to injure themselves. However, these are all high-risk professions, and sometimes that’s just what happens, unfortunately.
