Real motorsport fans don't want to see crashes. They want to see skilled drivers fighting for wins and championships. Danger in an intrinsic part of the sport that gives drivers credibility and courage for their actions, but it's absolutely not the main point of the sport. Do you think people watch football, baseball, hockey, etc. just to see the players get injured?
