A man tests a helicopter he built himself. It doesn't work as it should, so he dies...

According to the flag, this bucket is probably to become the latest combat helicopter for the Iranian army.

Reminds me of the flat earther who "engineered" his own rocket and just plopped in the middle of the Arizona? or New Mexico? desert.

Still hard to determine what actually killed him, seen this a few times, is it the propeller that comes back on hits him in the face ?

The tail rotor explodes, causing a piece of the blade to fly to the floor and ricochet up into the main blades. The debris smacks into the main blades which causes the helicopter body to launch counterclockwise. Inventor Joe wasn't wearing a seatbelt and the force launched his head outside of the cabin. The main blades, wobbly from being struck by supersonic debris, flexed downwards and karate chopped his head into the edge of the cabin.

Guess I assumed wrong on my take. God-damn, that's brutal.

He might've been wearing a seatbelt, his butt does end up back in the seat after the hit. It was probably just a lap belt with a lot of play which allowed his head to leave the cabin. Either way, if you're gonna surround yourself with spinning metal death, maybe take the time to invent some doors? Hell, some mesh wire would have worked.

I think so too however it didn't penetrated the cabin. Apparently a simple seatbelt would have kept him alive

I doubt he died from just being rattled around, seems that he got hit with the blade

Kind of both. The shake pushed his head outside where it met the blade. The tail rotor blade split in half causing the chain reaction... Looks like he won't be around to upgrade his design.

I don't have anything to go off(All sudden and not as clear) , but I think the spontaneous yaw and slight but immediate roll movement of the handmade craft sent him forward towards the frame, depending on width and/or acceleration, between blunt force or penetrative to the skull.

My two pence.

This guy was a legend, Brazilian I think, known for making crazy inventions just for fun, and was mourned by a lot of people in the region he was from.

Jump in the discussion.

It was India. I wonder how many of the crazy inventions were also death traps that just never happened to kill someone.

No, this was India. I mean you can just look at them and tell.

Also, front of the helicopter, there is an Indian flag...
