Happened on June 26, 2024, around 1 pm on 93 kilometer of route R-280 «Novorossiya», near Lakedemonovka, Rostov Oblast, Russia

33 years old man and his passenger were driving in a Mercedes-Benz S 450 on route R-280, towards Taganrog.

While overtaking a truck, the driver lost control and crashed into the back of GAZ 274711. After that, both vehicles flew into a ditch.

Two men who were in the Mercedes were taken to the hospital, where the driver later died.

No informations about the GAZ driver.

One thing wasn't mentioned in any of the news reports I've found. It looks like the Mercedes was racing white Lada seen in the video.

Motorcyclist dies crushed by truck this Thursday (27), in Ananindeua

Security camera footage recorded the moment of the accident

A man, identified as Almir Lucas Medeiros Senado, according to information from the Military Police of Pará (PMPA), died on the afternoon of this Thursday, 27th, after being run over by a truck , in the Atalaia neighborhood , in Ananindeua . The accident happened on the São Pedro crossing , a road that gives access to the BR-316 highway . Security circuit images near the scene recorded the exact moment of the accident. According to information from witnesses, the accident occurred around 2:30 pm.The truck driver, who was not identified, was very shaken by the accident and was rescued by workers from a company in the area. The professional and the truck were taken to the Jaderlândia Section, where the driver must give a statement about what happened. The São Pedro crossing is used by drivers to travel between the BR-316 highway and the Três Corações and Mário Covas avenues, in Ananindeua. In the video, the motorcyclist appears to be traveling to the right of the truck , until he slips in a flooded part of the road and falls to the left . At this moment, the driver's head and part of the torso ends up under the truck's wheels and is crushed by the large vehicle.

The body of the accident victim was sent to the Forensic Medical Institute, where it will await identification by family members.
