Honestly one of the best things to do for a spinal injury is jiggle them around a bunch (this will make the brain know there's an injury and to form new neuropathways).

I did something similar to this on top of a metal sheet roof drunk. I slipped when I got on top. The nails ripped my pants off. And the water grate hit my feet's and I spun head first and hit my head and the legs 6 stories down. I had a concussion broke my nose and both my legs were broken and my legs swelled with blood and tore my muscles in both my ankles. If it wasn't filmed I would've only remembered the little white light and then people waking me up and blood gushing out of my nose. Couldn't help but laugh. People thought I was dead as I was on the ground butt as naked for awhile. Somehow I didn't break my neck.
