CHILD WARNING Fair ride accident

This actually happened in my town...i knew 2 of the folks who died...they were good people...they loved each other very much and you could tell...even tho they were brother and sister everyone still accepted their relationship cuz it was pure

Never go on a non-permanent ride. Those things get set up and taken down each year by teenagers getting paid $12 an hour.

The “I'm so scared” from the random woman next to camera man is annoying me. Like how does one manage to steal the attention from ppl who were actually on the ride??

This ride was a 'Dollar General' version of the larger, more stable/robust versions that one usually sees at the larger, permanent parks like Cedar Point, Six Flags, etc. By riding these 1-3 day 'fly-by-night' carnival attractions, you have substantially greater odds of being severely injured, up to and including death. The carnies, ride operators, and ride mechanics who are employed by these travelling carnivals have much greater rates of substance abuse/dependence and, by extension, psychological issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, CRIMINAL RECORDS, etc. Not stable people, and definitely NOT people you want to entrust with your safety. These rides, when compared to the ones found in permanent parks, have relatively abysmal safety/injury ratings per 100k or 1m riders. Stay far, far away, and NEVER allow your children on these 'rides'. You are being ripped off at these carnivals anyways. Not only that, attending one of these carnivals could leave you severely injured, paralyzed, or dead.

That's why I prefer six flags sure an accident can definitely happen but th we don't take their rides down and they are very big on daily maintenance checks throughout the day. Carnivals their rides are built half ass.

At a few minutes in the cop tells the guy to get back, and the guy asks the cop how far do you want me to go back.., you can actually see people lining up to go back on the ride, i guess they figure after they clean up the mess they can be first.

Lots of people trying to explain to me that this is a joke, and look, I looked at the timeline, and it did seem to contain other racist material that may have been intended to be edgy and funny. But look, your racist “satire” is still racist, and you make lots of racist satire? Kinda makes me think you‘re actually a racist.

I promise whatever satirical aim you think this person has, they could TOTALLY exercise it in a way that wasn't horribly racist. They're being racist because they know that will get a rise out of people. And at that point, that's not actually satire.

Hey, notice how this tweet acknowledges that I understand what the person is trying to accomplish? That means you don't need to explain the “joke” to me. The problem with trying to be so absurdly racist that it's satire is that you're still being absurdly racist. If we've learned anything from the last four years, it's that absurd racism does not in fact highlight how absurd racism is. It just makes absurd racism more common.

I don't like it. I'm not going to start liking it. Saying the exact same things that absurdly racist people do but then saying it's satire just makes me not trust you at all.
