CHILD WARNING Kid crushed to death while trying help his dad on the job

Ahmet Doğukan A, the 13-year-old son of the shopkeeper, who saw that the parquets he had lifted above the ground with a forklift, were unstable, wanted to go and fix the parquets.

In the meantime, some parquets hit his head and fell on him, and Ataş fell to the ground with the blows he received.

His father and the people around him, who saw his son fall to the ground, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Service teams.

Paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident and determined that the child had died.

In the region where crime scene investigation teams were working and the police took security measures, his mother, sister and relatives, who saw the body of the child, had a bad time.

The body of the child was taken to the morgue of Erzurum Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.

Poor kid. His last thought was probably ‘Oh no! I don't want to disappoint dad! I'm a good son! Even though I don't understand physics and Newton's laws, I can still catch this, dad will be so proud of me!'

Some sad shit right there.

i guess the dad would of been held accountable for the damages so the son was trying to help his dad. it would be instinct in a way but you have to remember you are not holding that shit up

yeah, after watching the video a couple of times, it seems like he reacted without thinking/used his instincts to save what was falling.

bring your kid to work day is an actual thing?? my dad never had that and my school also never had bring your parent to school, so they talk about what they do for work. i thought it was just a movies thing??

While watching the video I knew this wasn't filmed in China because people actually tried to help the poor kid. In China they would just walk by, glance at the dead body, and keep walking. Heartless bastards.

No one lives long enough to learn from every possible mistake.

A truth this poor kid will never learn.

May his sacrifice serve as a lesson to us. RIP brave little guy.

Sad. The father will no doubt know he is responsible for his sons death. Could have just done them one by one but instead loaded two. Also, this is in Turkey so its basically another middle eastern shit hole country.

Why would they need to perform an autopsy? He wasn't murdered and everything was caught on the cam. Why butcher the body more then it has to be.

This dude definitely was not forklift certified... it is well known that pedestrians must maintain at least a 10 feet distance at all times and never approach, just let shit fall.

Poor kid, skinny as can be, obviously doesn't lift, and still tried to catch that big ass stack. I get he was trying to help, but did no one tell him that he would never win that battle like that?

What does his father's arm movement mean at 0:04??? He seems telling his kid "hey watch out for the tilting palettes and hold-fix it if necessary, since you are a grown ass man......but RIGHT NOW! what are you waiting for?... a good beating from me?"

As soon as it fell on him, he jumped out and ran over to start lifting shit off of him. What else was he supposed to do? It happened so fast the boy didn't even have time to take a step or two to the side to avoid it, so what could dad have done from like ten feet away in the same time span??? 🤷

The problem started before, when he didn't make sure his son understood to stay clear. Sad

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

Well, in that regard I suppose you are probably correct. Although, maybe he did teach him that, but the son was just still too young andinexperienced for it be an automatic response just yet. From the looks of it, it looked more like an automatic reflex than any sort of thought out maneuver....unfortunately that was enough to seal the little fellas fate. Thats gotta traumatizing for the dad, sheesh.
