I was surprised to see this was in 2023, but I guess it's just China things. With modern busses your main concern is getting the door to even close if too many people are near it.

I think that the bus driver maybe used the door button by mistake or it had a malfunction.

Or he was in a huge hurry and didn't see anyone walking towards it..

Yeah maybe, but it would be weird to close the door in just 2-3 seconds. A grandma could not even get up from a seat in 2 seconds.

I think the drivers are obligated to open the door at each stop for at least a second or two, just according to policy. That's how my local busses work. If no one stands up to get off, they close pretty quick.

If he did accidentally close the door, I don't know why he immediately started accelerating away.

I meant with "used the door button by mistake" that he also opened it for a second time and than closed it immediately. In Germany the doors often not open when no passanger is pressing the stop button before arriving at the next bus stop, or maybe the girl pushed the button in the last seconds, where the bus driver thought that no one will get out at this bus stop.
