A teenager has been blinded in both eyes after police shot 52 rubber pellets into his face during a protest.

Rufo Chacon, 16, was injured when the authorities shot into a crowd of protesters in Andean city, Venezuela, on July 2.

His 14-year-old brother, Adrian, and another child also suffered head injuries at the demonstration, which was organised over cooking gas shortages.

Two officers have been charged with attempted murder, improper use of a weapon and cruel treatment, following the chaos.

During the protest in Colombia (2019-2020), Police was illegally using home-made projectiles full of marbles nails and stuf instead of official the rubber pellets and shooting the protesters directly to the head (legally they can't shot directly nor in close range) which left several deceases and mutilations, including a lot of people losing their eyes... Maybe I would post about it one of these days...

France. Young man was doing a Tik Tok choking game challenge, without realizing the deadly danger of it. The challenge involves of being strangled/choked for at least 30 seconds. Used a very strong tension rubber/bungee cord. One can see the effort it takes him to stretch it so to put it over his neck. But apparently he never heard that one could pass out instantly just as soon as the blood flow to the brain becomes restricted critical enough. Paid with his life as the result.

The Department of Investigation in St. Petersburg has initiated a criminal investigation into the death of a 44-year old St. Petersburg man who was killed with a car tire dropped from the top floors. The case will be investigated for causing death by negligence, Interfax reported.

The tragic incident occurred on the evening of November 8 outside building 72 by Svetlanov Avenue. The man was taken to the Alexandrovsky Hospital with severe injuries (closed head injury, brain contusion, fracture of the lower jaw, contusions and bruises of the head). In the morning of November 11 he died from injuries without regaining consciousness.

There is a video of the incident online showing a man walking through a yard with a plastic bag in his hand. The man was suddenly hit by a car tire with a wheel disk. The wheel landed a few inches from the man's legs and bounced to his head. From the impact, the man fell backwards.

Investigators also have video from surveillance cameras at their disposal, which shows a group of teenagers entering the elevator of the building, where the ill-fated wheel was dropped from. Later, young people came up to the body of the victim, stayed there for a few minutes and left. According to one theory, they threw the wheel from the window of the 11th floor of the house, said Fontanka.ru.

According to Life News, alleged perpetrators are found: it is a couple of teenagers who had already been detained.

According to the online agency, a 15-year-old high school student Darya and a 16-year-old student of a professional school Eric, in the heat of a fight, threw a car tire form the balcony of the 11th floor, which bounced off the ground and killed a 44-yearold resident of the neighboring house Victor Gubin, who was coming back from a grocery store. Gubin was taken to the Alexandrovsky Hospital with a closed craniocerebral trauma, extreme brain contusion and a fractured jaw. He died there the next morning.

According to the guy, he was fighting with his girlfriend and to blow off steam he threw the wheel from the balcony without looking down, said a source in law enforcement. The teenagers were easily identified from the video recordings of surveillance cameras installed in the building.

A 36-year-old man died, this Wednesday (13), after being shot at a shooting range, in Planaltina, in the Federal District. Investigations indicate that one of the bullets he fired hit a metal structure and ricocheted, hitting him. The case is investigated by the 31st Police Station.

The Civil Police confirmed that the man, identified as Diego dos Santos Ribeiro , was registered as a Collector, Shooter and Hunter (CAC) . However, the weapon he used at the time was not his, but a friend's.

The corporation also said that the weapon was not registered and that the victim's friend had several police experience, so he could not, in theory, have a CAC record. However, investigations are still ongoing.

Diego received first aid from the Fire Department, but he could not resist and died on the shooting range. The Civil Police have already requested forensic examination at the scene and are analyzing images of the crime scene

In yet another tragic incident, a teenager accidentally shot himself while making a video for the popular video-sharing platform, TikTok, on Wednesday in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Swat district, police officials said.

19-year-old Hamidullah accidentally pulled the trigger of a loaded TT pistol while filming the short video in the Kabal area of Swat which left him dead on the spot.

Police officials said that Hamidullah's friends, who were helping him in filming the video clip, rushed him to a nearby hospital but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The video of the teenager's accidental death was widely circulated on social media, causing even more panic among the masses. Police sent the body for autopsy and started an investigation into the case.
