An Assistant Police Sub-Inspector (ASI) deployed at Gate No. 3 in PAP, reportedly lost his life in a firing incident. A gunshot was heard late on Wednesday evening on the PAP campus, after which heavy police force rushed to the spot.

As per reports, the bullet was shot in the eye of the ASI, who died on the spot. The deceased cop has been identified as Sub-inspector Paramjit Singh (57), a resident of Adampur. He was presently residing at the PAP quarters only with his family including his wife and a son.

Sources said the bullet was fired from the ASI's Carbine Gun when he was on duty at gate number 3.

SHO Cantt police station, Inspector, Azaib Singh, said it is yet to ascertain as to how the gunshot was fired. The deceased died on the spot after a bullet was misfired from the carbine gun of the deceased cop. The bullet pierced through the right eye of the cop and he died on the spot. The police were investigating the matter, SHO added.

Senior cops including; IG SK Kalia, Commandent Manjit Singh Dhesi and ACP Cantt Major Singh reached the spot. The deceased cop was posted as Sub-Inspector in PAP 27 Battalion.

ALABAMA – A store clerk is dead after he accidentally shot himself in the head while examining a gun in Sylacauga, graphic video shows.

On a Monday, a firefighter stopped by the Hop In Convenience Store to make a purchase and found the store clerk lying in a pool of blood behind the counter.

Officers from the Sylacauga Police Department (SPD) responded at 12:45pm to a call of a subject injured and possibly dead at the store on N Broadway Avenue and 10th Street.

Upon arrival, officers found 21-year-old Pankaj Pankaj lying on the floor with a handgun lying next to his body.

During an investigation, store video was reviewed, and it was determined that Pankaj had accidentally shot himself in the head while looking at the firearm that was property of the store owner.

The owner kept the gun behind the counter for self-protection.

Pankaj's death was ruled an accident by the coroner after he reviewed the video, too.

Security cameras captured the tragic incident that occurred on Thursday on Charles de Gaulle Avenue, near the "Come y Bebe" establishment, where a vehicle fell on top of a man from the second floor of an establishment. The video shows how a vehicle falls from a second floor and hits a pedestrian, causing his death instantly. According to preliminary reports, the accident was caused by a worker who accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brakes. As a result, the van was ejected from the scene and plunged from the second story, tragically impacting the pedestrian. The shocking scene left all those present shocked by the magnitude of the tragedy witnessed. The authorities are investigating the event to determine the responsibilities and clarify the details of the accident.

19-year-old Hamidullah accidentally pulled the trigger of a loaded TT pistol while filming the short video in the Kabal area of Swat which left him dead on the spot.

Police officials said that Hamidullah's friends, who were helping him in filming the video clip, rushed him to a nearby hospital but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The video of the teenager's accidental death was widely circulated on social media, causing even more panic among the masses. Police sent the body for autopsy and started an investigation into the case.
