In Istanbul, Turkey, 35-year-old T.S. was arrested after being accused of murdering her 67-year-old mother, S.P.
T. apparently flew into a murderous rage when S. refused to sign the apartment over to her. She murdered S., before dragging her body into the bathroom and beheading her. She then placed the head inside a cooking pot, filled with water.
T., who worked as an emergency medical technician, then used her knowledge to scrape the meat off her mother's left leg, before dumping it in a bucket. She was caught before she could chop up the rest of the body.
Believed to be schizophrenic, T. was sentenced to a high-security mental institution.
