Just to break some limbs and suffer even more in your final minutes

When you are cold, the blood vessels near the surface of your body constrict, reducing the amount of warm blood exposed to the cold and limiting heat loss. Your body can only keep that up for so long, and when it finally gives up, the warm blood comes rushing back to the skin, giving the illusion of being too hot.

so this guy most likely felt a rush of heat run through his body right before he died, probably felt really good and comforting

People who have been saved from having almost freezing to death say it's not terrible.

Yea, I wonder what he was seeing just before he died due to the lack of oxygen to the brain

I don't know what he saw, but I can imagine how he screamed in pain (if he had the strength left to scream).

I wonder how many other people are still up there on Everest, unrecovered bodies

Hundreds. They're used by climbers as waypoints. At a certain point, there's no point in using resources to recover people who have already died, not to mention the ones that are impossible to get to.

There is a little something called Gooooogle:

"Mount Everest has seen the tragic loss of over 300 climbers in recent history, with an estimated 200 remaining on the mountain to date"

But it's easier to ask that question here, eh?
