A 22-year-old man was beheaded with an axe allegedly by his neighbour in the Pardali village of Rajasthan's Jalore district, triggering tension in the area, police said on May 16, 2023.

Mobile Internet services have been suspended and prohibitory orders issued, they said.

The accused Sanklaram Bheel (50) was detained after the incident on Wednesday as locals mounted pressure for his immediate arrest, the police added.

Kishore Singh had allegedly abused Bheel and thrashed his grandson in an inebriated state. Both were neighbours in Pardali village, according to the police.

“The accused, in a fit of rage, attacked the victim with an axe. The victim does not have any immediate family members. His body has been kept in a mortuary for post-mortem. The situation is under control and peaceful,” Superintendent of Police Kiran Kang said.

Bheel had allegedly followed Singh on a motorcycle and attacked him, the police said.

He then dumped the head around 150 metres from the spot, they added.

Kang said some locals and the members of the victim's extended family are demanding compensation and the accused's arrest.

Jalore SHO Girdhar Singh said the process of arresting and registering a case against the accused is underway.

A 27-year-old man died in an early morning crash in Valencia on Saturday.

He was identified as Daniel Williams of Jacob Hill, Wallerfield, Arima.

According to reports, around 2:15am Williams was heading west along the Valencia stretch.

When approaching the roundabout, he lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle flipped several times and came to a stop on its hood.

He died on the scene.

Fly species that are commonly recovered on human corpses concealed in houses or other dwellings are often dependent on human created environments and might have special features in their biology that allow them to colonize indoor cadavers. The photos are from a case from southern Finland where masses of P. terraenovae puparia was found on partially mummified corpse suggesting that the flies have been breeding on it for several generations.

The body was in active decay stage. External examination of the body showed large areas of skin slippage on the thorax and on the upper limbs. The head and the neck presented black/brown discoloration areas. No sign of injury was observed. The cause of death was natural and was defined, on histological evidence, as an ischemia on sclerotic myocardium.

Entomological evidence was collected during the autopsy. Fly eggs and larvae were present on the neck area and inside the oral cavity. Maggots were also present in the right armpit. The deceased male lived alone and was known to be an alcohol abuser who did not often have interactions with his family. He had not been seen for 6 days.

24-year-old Ukrainian Anastasia Niklas before and after she burned herself alive near the Roman Catholic Cathedral of God the Merciful Father in the summer of 2020.

The story is a little murky, because initially there was a version that the girl wanted to convert to the Catholic faith, but her Orthodox parents forbade her.

It sounds quite crazy, so the version of the parents themselves looks much more plausible - problems in their personal lives and a broken heart.

According to them, one guy left Anastasia for her friend, another betrayed her, and with the third (a Catholic, by the way), the relationship reached a dead end.

The woman featured is Isabella Ataíde and the man shown is well known in Santarém, Brazil's political/monetary circles for being an upstanding role model and president of the 8th House Environment Committee.

Isabella, who was his partner, claims that he had committed suicide and her reaction in the video appears to be due to shock and a means of a coping mechanism.

Her court statement has not been released.

On 20th of May, police were notified about a murder of three family members, a father, a mother and an adopted daughter. The caller was no one other than the killer himself, an adopted 16 year old teenage boy.

According to the teenager's statement to the police, the murder's planning began on Thursday (16th). The teen claimed he had been called a "lazy fucker" and that his parents had confiscated his cellphone. And without his cellphone, he wouldn't be able to make a school presentation project.

On a friday morning, the teen took his father's firearm inside a drawer, who was a Municipal city guard (for Jundiaí). He tested the .9mm gun on a mattress. By evening, his 57 year old father, Isac Tavares Santos, came home along with his 16 year old daughter, Letícia Gomes Santos.

The teen shot a bullet through his father's neck and then one through his sister's face. Both died at the spot.

Around 7PM of the same day, his 50 year old mother, Solange Aparecida Gomes, came home and saw her husband's body on the floor. The teen then shot her.

On saturday, he went as usual with his routine, went to the gym and to the bakery with CCTV footage showing buying a single baguette 26 hours after killing his family.

He impersonared his father through text messages when fellow City guards started to text him asking his whereabouts when he didn't come into work that day. The teen while pretending to be his dad, simply said "I'm feeling sick."

Also on the same day, he stabbed his mother's already dead body because he was "still angry at Solange".

Only at 10:30PM on Sunday would the boy call the police, stating he was bothered by the smell and the flies around the bodies and ended up confessing to the murder. The teen was taken into police custody for futher investigation. At the time of writing he is being avaliated to check if he has any mental disorders or not.

He told police he only killed them because he was angry at them for taking his cellphone. However, he admitted to only killing his sister because she would get in the way, stopping him. The boy told police he has no hard feelings and "Would do it all over again".

According to deputy Roberto Afonso, the boy was actually surprised to learn he would be punished in any way but still claimed he doesn't feel sorry.
