Circus trainer strangled to death by snake

Most people believe these large snakes kill by "suffocating". In actually reality, when these large constructors tighten up, they stop blood flow almost instantly, causing one to black out, go into cardiac arrest, brain death, and die from this rather then from suffocating.

One last thing. This snake was not trying to kill this individual and/or eat him. This snake was simply tightening up so as not to fall off. This individual did a very poor job of handling this large snake. The snake simply was trying not to fall, simply hangon. Unfortunately, as you saw, when the snake tightened up around his neck, it cut blood supply off causing him to black out and almost instantly go into cardiac arrest. You could see it within seconds. Certainly much faster death then oxygen deprivation.

Well, if the snake didn't kill him I'm sure the 12 times they dropped him probably had alot to do with it.

The way they AGGRESSIVELY pulled him up by the neck, then carelessly dropped his head on the floor. They then (poorly) checked for a response, before deciding to pick him up up by the neck again. Then, to top it all off, they drop him head first onto the floor again and likely finish him off by tripping over his unconscious body.

The snake got the assist. THEY got the kill.

Circuses that feature animals usually end up abusing and/or neglecting those animals in one way or another. Same with marine parks that have whales and dolphins performing. Never give your money to these places if you're against animal abuse.

Yup. Let's waste precious seconds getting him off the stage, out of sight of the stunned crowd, rather than actually do all you can for the guy and start resuscitation efforts immediately, right there, on the stage, period. He obviously didn't have anyone "spotting him", watching over him right off stage in case of an accident like this. If he did, help would've been out there just as he was starting to pass out and fall to the floor. Just dumb. Guy never thought it could happen to him. I've worked with large snakes like this one, including Burmese pythons, Reticulated Pythons, Yellow & Green Anacondas, just to name a few. This guy was NOT properly holding or supporting this snake. The snake did what he naturally would do if he was "slipping", or "falling". He put more of his body around the guy and held on, ala squeezed tighter. The snake was not trying to kill and eat the guy nor was he really doing anything defensive. If he was, the snake would've been "hissing" and "biting" the man, of which I saw neither. Just careless handling by this guy and he may have paid for it with his life.

The only thing more cold blooded than the snake was the whole crowd, kids included. I was waiting for them to react the whole time. It's almost like that was EXACTLY the show they came to see. "...and colleagues help break his neck too." -Honestly, way to be gentle, guys.
