Peter Barrientos (31), was rammed by one of the horses participating in the competition in the district of Acraquia in Huancavelica and died while being treated at the hospital in Pampas.The victim, coming from the district of San Pedro de Coris, province of Churcampa, entered the track in an apparent state of drunkenness and was violently rammed by one of these animals. Before the astonished gaze of the public, the event organizers requested the presence of an ambulance, which arrived minutes later.
Acraquia's health personnel quickly attended to the victim, who, due to the seriousness of his facial injury, was transferred to the hospital in Pampas, where he died.

Horses can break their legs super easy, tripping over that dude could've easily broken a leg or even its neck. They are huge and that comes at a price, sometimes hitting the ground way too hard because of their own weight or landing on their own limbs.

Dark haired countries are prone to animal cruelty. There are the Tibetan Buddhists who are harmless, as with most Buddhists. There are also compassionate tribes in Africa and spiritually enlightened ones in South America so don't judge all but with even Spain still allowing bull fighting most places have so far to go.
