2nd guy was the one i meant, even with the slomo it looks like he just straight up stomps the kid on accident. Its not totally clear for him. First guy i can see much more clearly where his leg went, and you're right, he did perform a well placed back kick

Well to be clear, the first guy, the guy who threw the bucket, he has a perfect FORWARD kick. It raises the dog and, I think the dog bites his pants leg so it causes him some problem and brings the dog back down towards the kid on the ground. The second guy does a sort of back kick stomping motion. Here's the 2nd guy. I think you can see with a little more context that the kid doesn't get stomped. Or at least not hard. This video is just the same thing back and forth a few times at 50% speed.
Notice the smoothness of the kid's roll. At the point where big guy's foot comes down, the kid is on his left side, rolling towards his back to the right. So the guy can only stomp on either the kid's left hand or his left leg near the knee.
When I look for possible contact in videos like this, I look for signs of sudden jerk movement by the "victim" in reaction to the stomp. Physics. I just don't see anything like that by the kid. The kid's left foot gets planted well, and he rotates about that, you can see it in just about every frame. The foot seems relaxed and natural throughout the roll. The continuous action of his roll makes me think maybe he didn't get stomped. Also, careful review of each frame. At worst, it was very slight contact.
I'm not sure if the dog got kicked back or the dog was just deciding to nope outta there. It did seem like the dog was a little hurt at that point. The guy's kick-stomp might have come down on his foot.

Okay, i can definitely see it now. If anything, the only part of the kid that did get hit by the stomp, looks a lot more like his shoulder or arm. Still close to his head, but just enough out of the way that the kid wasn't injured

I have kids. These videos are by far the hardest to watch, but I force myself to do it I think because I want to desensitise myself and be prepared to respond should I ever find myself in a similar situation. At least that's what I tell myself. It certainly is not a morbid fascination with watching kids being hurt or killed. I don't know. Do any of the rest of you with children have thoughts on this?
