I don't understand the logic behind this. The man died, croc got killed, 'rescued' the digested corps only to bury it again or burn it. Bonus is the trauma to watch the half eaten man. Total loss. Least could be done is to let the croc transferred to animal rescue and deported to someplace far from civilisation. Emotion is too strong from some people to be rational.

There are traditions in some part of world to sell minors in the name of marriage, traditions to mass murders by various means. And MANY people care about it. Doesn't mean everything needs to be supported. Gotta grow up from the previous centuries and start to act rational.

Cool this isn't one of those terrible traditions. Killing a man eating gator for the sake of a proper burial isn't a negative thing. Traditions and culture keep communities strong. If you don't have money, you rely on your neighbor.
It's easy to sit in your first world house and say everyone should be a pragmatic atheist but it's narrow minded. You need some perspective.

It's never been said whose fault was it that the victim got killed. If a man sticks his arm into a lion enclosure, sure, the dumb mofo deserves to lose the arm. But where do we draw the line? Where is OUR territory? A fisherman goes out to river to make a living and his life is instantly inferior to other living creatures in the nature?
Yeah, we are smarter. But is human society so comfortable for us all? Poor people have to work hard in risky environment and maybe not so morally. Who in the right mind would want to live in a vicinity of wild dangerous animals?

The man was apparently a construction worker. It isn’t his fault, but it isn’t the animals either. You can look at it in two different ways, one, nature is nature. It was an unfortunate accident. Two, it’s the fault of the rich guy who is paying people to work in dangerous places for money.

Salt water crocodiles like the one in this video can get huge. Large ones can easily get 15+ feet long and more than a 1000 pounds. Not only are they the biggest species of crocodile they are the biggest reptile alive!

If you are referring on why the Croc has to die, it's because once such a predator kills a human, they tend to do it again, there is some science shit behind it i'm too lazy to find it, same logic for Sharks bears tigers etc....
