I hear ya. Although being that she was 85, no telling how much she's capable of being aware. I've heard some of how the brain begins to slow as people age and it scares the hell out of me.
I remember when my grandma started to first develop clear signs of dementia. I was at her house where she lived with my aunt and had other family that checked on her daily. I walked passed her car in the garage and noticed all the dings and dents in it. Thankfully, she had kids that gave a shit and noticed she was having issues and stopped her from driving and took care of her. Not everyone has that.
