Can any spanish person explain me why you guys do this? Is this just sport or religious ritual where you insight a bull n get toppled like pepperoni

Hi, I´m Spanish and I can tell you that people who like this tradition are a decaying minority who is harshly condemned by the rest of the people. I think that this problem will be solved in 20-30 years because people are loosing interest in this kind of shows. There are some places in Spain like Canary Islands (I live there) that it is even forbbiden.

Thanks for the reply n explaining actually i legit saw many videos like this mostly from Spain or south Americas where the crowd cheer when any person get toppled by bull where the bull stabs the victim with his horns in his throt, eyes, rib cage in most brutal way meanwhile the crowd take adventure from this and cheers im like wtf i don't think mostly people survive such brutal attacks tho im guessing this is like traditional sports in spain but now it just seems just death trap i wonder how much the government still support such events
