The victim, in his forties and identified by his surname Zhang, had been visiting the Youngor Zoo in Ningbo City, in East China’s Zhejiang Province, with family and friends.
Horrific mobile phone footage which has gone viral on Chinese social media, and which was later removed because of its graphic nature, shows Zhang being dragged around by the Siberian tiger.
Other big cats also surround Zhang as he tries to fight them off by kicking out with his foot, but the animals refuse to leave, with one biting down on his neck.
At the end of the clip, Zhang is dragged under the trees while employees at the wildlife park try to scare the cats away using firecrackers.
Ningbo City officials have confirmed that Zhang and one of his friends, surnamed Li, climbed the zoo’s 3-metre outer fence in order to avoid paying for the 130-RMB ($18) ticket.
The pair’s wives and children, however, did purchase tickets and entered the park legally, reports said.

Elder Paul Richard Oakey of St. George, survived an animal attack by a lion while serving for the past 19 months as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Guatemala City South Mission in July of 2011. One lion reached through the cage and grabbed the missionary’s leg, causing him to fall back against the cage. A second lion then grabbed Elder Oakey’s left arm with its mouth.
The 20-year-old lost a piece of his leg, and his arm was amputated after the attack.

OK so let me get out and argue with my husband while there is a tiger next to me..
Sadly, she reportedly survived, but the old lady who went to rescue her tragically died. She's now trying to hold the Safari accountable for the results of her stupid decision.

I think it was a very bad idea on the man's behalf to get so close to the lion. The guy speaks in Spanish (he says "shoot it" in Spanish), but from the way he does it you can tell that Spanish is not his first language. The other people speak native Spanish.
Based on the characteristics of the injury, I don't think the guy died but I'm not sure. In any case, if someone believes that the video is not in accordance with the purpose of the site, the post can be deleted.
According to what I read on Reddit, it happened in Guatemala and the man was from Oregon, United States (although some sources say he is from Utah).

An elderly man was killed and a woman critically injured by a small pack of dogs that attacked them and first responders who came to their aid Friday afternoon in San Antonio, officials said.
Two other people were bitten — one on a hand and the other, a city fire department captain, on a leg, San Antonio Fire Chief Charles Hood said at a news conference Friday. By Saturday evening, all three survivors had been treated and released from the hospital, the city's Animal Care Services and police departments said in a joint statement.
San Antonio police had arrested the owner of the dogs in connection with the attack.
The identity of the man who was killed has not been publicly released, and the medical examiner's office did not respond to a request for information Saturday. Police said he was 81 years old and the woman who was critically injured is 74. The city described her in a statement as his companion.

A video has captured the horrific moment a swimmer was killed by a shark at a popular Sydney beach.
The city was rocked by its first fatal shark attack in almost 60 years after the attack at Little Bay on Wednesday.
Human remains were found by rescuers about 6pm, almost an hour-and-a-half after a fisherman first reported a person in the water had been attacked and dragged under by a shark.
Terrifying video footage showed the moment the shark struck.
“Someone just got eaten by a shark,” the man recording the video can be heard yelling, adding it was a “big great white”.
Huge splashes can be seen with the water in the area turning red and birds circling above.
“That's insane,” the man added, filming from a rock ledge where people were fishing.
Another woman yelled “oh my god … what the f***?” in disbelief.
The person is still there,” the man then added.

Emergency services were called to the area near Buchan Point, Malabar, after receiving a report that a shark attacked a swimmer in the water just after 4.30pm on Wednesday.
Authorities then located human remains in the water and closed off Little Bay Beach, according to NSW Police.
“Footage clearly shows a body, half a body being taken by a shark,” a police officer had told colleagues over a scanner.
“They have found some remains.”
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said: “Unfortunately this person had suffered catastrophic injuries and there wasn't a lot paramedics could do when we arrived.”
A witness, who was fishing off rocks on the point, said the swimmer was right in front of him when they were dragged under the water.
“It was terrible. I am shaking,” he told ABC. “I keep vomiting. It's very, very upsetting.”
Randwick Council announced on Wednesday night that Malabar, Maroubra, Coogee, Clovelly and La Perouse beaches would also be closed for 24 hours while council lifeguards looked for any further sightings of sharks.
Dozens of people were swimming and paddle boarding at Little Bay Beach at the time of the attack.
It is the first fatality from a shark attack in Sydney since 1963.
Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker said the community was in shock.
“To lose someone to a shark attack like this is chilling. We are all in shock,” he said.
“Our entire community's hearts go out to the family of the victim.”
Police will liaise with the Department of Primary Industry to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of the swimmer.
