A CCTV Clip from the bar has been released and it shows the tourists having a dispute over his bill, while not harming anyone. So he was bill scammed, then beaten and kicked by the "security" personnel.

Close to zero chance that a Brit punched a bar girl in the face. It just wouldn't happen. That's a big no no, even for wrong'uns.
It's more likely they've had a dispute over being scammed for inflated drink prices.

Yeah all sources seem to corroborate. The CCTV clip is now public (at least on /r/thailand reddit) and it shows the man in the white shirt having disputes while paying his bill, during which he harmed nobody

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah the severity of that beating looked completely undeserved. One security guard in particular is a vicious psychopath.

Yep, and the British guy was likely acting all entitled so they were just too happy to open up a can for him.

Why do you think it's 'likely' he was acting all 'entitled' and not acting all 'you've overcharged me I want this fixed' ?
What's goin on there buddy?

We'll never know, but there is definitely more video out now that might support he was being an entitled Brit (if you live here you know what I mean) at worst, and plain stupid at best. If they did overcharge him, it's certainly fixed now.
