Phan Thiet City police said that this person claimed to be Nguyen Van Ngoc, 39 years old, residing in Huu Lung, Lang Son province , to temporarily reside in Suoi Da village, Hong Son commune, Ham Thuan Bac district (it is not clear what the suspect does).
According to initial information, the incident happened at about 10:40 am on October 18 at a gas store along National Highway 1 (in hamlet 3, Hong Son commune, Ham Thuan Bac district). Data from the camera recorded showed that Nguyen Van Ngoc entered the store mentioned above. At this time, in front of the gas store, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan (42 years old, living in Hong Son commune) and another person playing chess on a stone bench.
After the mon men approached, Ngoc suddenly pulled out a hammer from his pocket and repeatedly hit Hoan on the head. The person playing chess with Hoan ran away. After being attacked, the victim collapsed on the chair. The attacker calmly took the weapon and left the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition .
According to information from the police station Ham Thuan Bac, the victim was then taken to the emergency room at Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital in a state of severe head injury and loss of blood.
At 2:50 p.m. on the same day (October 18), a leader of Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital told PV Thanh Nien that the victim had died.
Currently, Ham Thuan Bac Police and professional departments of Binh Thuan Provincial Police are holding murder suspects, investigating the scene and investigating the cause of the murder.
