It's not worth it people. Coming from someone who has claim to the real deal "shotgun shell was a dud" cliche after my time in the military? Living to the day the world (or god if you're religious) decides it's your time is worth it. Ultimately it is YOUR choice, and it's honestly the bravest thing one could do. This message is self argumentative, I know but it's true. Only the bravest pull the trigger.
And a side note. DO NOT try guilt tripping someone into stopping them if they're talking about it. Gas lighting just makes things much much worse and is the most selfish thing possible. Making someone continue in dread for your own happiness is extremely one minded.

The most retarded comment I've seen all week. Taking the easy way out isn't brave, and even if it was, there are plenty of reasons why someone would pull the trigger. Things like delusions, fear, and various mental illnesses.
Telling someone they're being selfish and not thinking about how their death will affect the people who care about them is not gaslighting,
