A word of advice: Do not, I repeat, do NOT go near a drowning person.

They will claw onto you and pull you under as well, no matter if you are a proficient swimmer. While in a panic, they will latch onto anything they can to stop themselves from drowning.

Only help them if they're still rational (pre head-dunking under the water), knock them out, or wait for them to lose their strength.

If you can run up to a drowning person, there's no reason they should be drowning.
