Father starts drowning. Mother jumps in to save him. Man pulls woman under. Kid runs in. Mother pulls kid under. Never gonna hear drowning victim unless you know how to approach them. You're supposed to approach them behind, or even swim under the water and come up behind them. Then hooked your arm over one shoulder and under the other armpit. Any other way, and they are likely to pull you down
