Im pretty sure, although it wasn't intentional, you are supposed to jostle an electrocuted person(after detaching them from the source). Force the muscles to relax and contract and shift their torso to break the spasm and force blood to circulate again. Its not a broken spine, its a body spasm causing severe full body muscle contraction.
