Nah, I grew up in an area near NYC and therefore a lot of trains and subway access. Now currently living in an area that barely has public busses, so I'm sure a lot of people from this area wouldn't know the third rail thing. It looks like to get electrocuted, the connection had to be made between the rail they were sitting on and the one behind. The one on the right made contact between both and pulled the one in the middle down with him, but the third guy didn't touch both rails at once so he didn't get electrocuted. Electricity can travel easily through the body of the person getting electrocuted to anyone trying to help them, so it's not always safe to pull them away. Plus, electricity at certain amperage (I forget the exact numbers) causes muscle spasms which frequently lead to the person who is getting electrocuted gripping very tightly to the thing that is electrocuting them, making it more difficult to move them. That doesn't appear to be the case here though, I think the difficulty in moving them is due to the dead weight aspect, as well as the body still being in contact between the two rails and thus being electrified.

No, electricity takes all paths with current proportionate to the resistance (impedance). If the source can supply enough current (likely in a rail system) each person would have the same current flow through them regardless if there is another person.
