This video is pretty amazing. An idiot in Iran, a young man, climbs up an electricity pole for some reason and is somehow stuck up there, possibly electrocuted. Why he did this is unknown.

A Good Samaritan, another young man who is unfortunately ignorant of the situation, climbs up and tries to rescue him while a huge crowd screams below. As he touches him, huge puffs of smoke fly up from the man at the top of the pole. He is unable to dislodge the first man from his perch.

Another man, yet another Good Samaritan, once again ignorant of the consequences, climbs up the pole and tries to rescue both of them. For some wild reason, this does not work, and instead it sets off a massive explosion that lights up the whole sky, blotting out everything. All three men fall from the pole to the ground, electrocuted.

Whether they survived or not or what injuries they sustained if they lived is not known. As the pole explodes with a splash of white light and white heat, the crowd's screaming, mostly women, reaches a fever pitch.

Sad video all around, especially for the latter two men.

http://robert-lindsay.blogspot.com/2009/11/man-electrocuted-on-train-in-india.html?m=1

This is one of the latest shock videos making the rounds, though not many have seen it yet. It shows a man in India who is up on the roof of a train stopped at a train station. The man is mentally ill and possibly psychotic.

There is a huge crowd on the ground. The crowd down below is yelling at him to come down, but he pays them no attention. He leans down to grab the hands of some people on the ground a couple of times in an effort to try to climb down off the train, but these efforts seem to fail. Then he starts walking jauntily along the roof of the train for a few yards. There are high tension wires swaying up above.

At one point, he reaches up for some unknown reason, possibly to steady himself, and grabs the high tension wires. He is quickly electrocuted. His entire body catches fire, and he is quickly burned to a blackened crisp in a matter of seconds. Then you see some fluid pouring down the side of the train. Incredibly enough, that is his blood. When you get his by that much current, your blood literally boils and explodes out of your body.

⛔ A surveillance camera captured the instant when a lightning bolt struck a woman on a beach in La Boquilla, in Cartagena.

⛔ The woman was in the company of several relatives.

⛔ The quiet afternoon on Tuesday on the beaches of La Boquilla in the north of Cartagena, ended in a tragedy, what seemed like a slight threat of rain came accompanied by thunderstorms that claimed a fatal victim.

⛔ In a security video you can see the moment when Froilanis Maireth Rivas Román, 34 years old, native of Venezuela, was standing on the beach, looking at the sea when the discharge of a lightning bolt fell on her and dragged her to the ground.

⛔ A man who was behind her fell to the floor, but got up immediately; however, Froilanis Maireth did not have the same luck and her body was left lying on the ground, where she was helped by tourist servers from the beaches and relatives who accompanied her.

⛔ Álvaro Cruz, director of the Emergency Regulation Center (CRUE) confirmed that the woman was transferred in an ambulance to the Serena del Mar Hospital, “where she entered the emergency with a cardiopulmonary arrest”.

⛔ He indicated that although the medical staff who received her gave her resuscitation, they were not successful, and a few minutes later Rivas Román was declared dead.
