Tianjin, China explosion 2015. (173 dead)

Couldn’t find this on the site, so here it is.

The commentary cracks me up more than anything.

Mega Explosion. HD+ At least 44 people are dead, among them 12 firefighters. Hospitals are dealing with an overwhelming influx of patients, as more than 500 people have been injured. Authorities say the explosions happened when a shipment of explosives being stored in a container detonated.

Edit: source @Sellmyemail

Final toll was 173 dead, 8 missing/presumed dead.

Yeah. Sounds more like it.

Editb now that I watched the whole video, that cant be true. Think of the Beirut explosion and the death toll there. Probably through every level of state the figures go through, they are prettied by someone, cause that was a huge explosion.

Beirut was larger in size by over three times in a way more densely populated area. I forget but final death count was only something like 50 or so more than this one. Though there was a shit ton of injured compared to here. Multiple thousands.

Okay, I was wondering, how densly populated that area was, cause it is in China. But I guess it might be an industrial area mostly and not basic appartments... And its happening at night so... But the local authorities definetly pretty up numbers, like they did with covid and a lot of things..
