Really appreciate these. Think one of my first forays into gore was looking up everst dead bodies, green boots etc

Find it really eerie and the fact that people can't rescue them at the time as they would die too. So essentially they just get left to die

I can’t imagine how scary those last hours were for this dude if he was conscious. He’ll most likely stay on the ledge way past our lifetimes, frozen for in his final moments for decades always glancing at each climber that took his same route

Yeh must be really shit, slowly dying, asking others for help and just getting ignored. I know the Sherpas (absolute legends) occasionally go and clear up the mountain, not sure whether they remove the bodies nor if they do, how often they do it. I guess it would depend on where the bodies end up.

From where he is I don’t see his recovery possible anytime soon, he must’ve gotten stuck there and didint have the energy to climb down or wait for help. Still, what a hell of a view to die in front of
