Holy fuck imagine being the doctor having to "fix" that, if he actually made it to one lol.

There will be no need for "fixing", he's gonna live within the hour but not by the day.

He actually survived. There is a whole news article on Mikhail Vladimirov.

Not very clear but if nothing went in to his brain and the neck vessels are intact this is a survivable injury. It looks like he had the gun under his chin so it just destroyed his face.

If you are going to keep yourself safe with a shotgun you really need to put it in your mouth so it shreds the brain stem or at least damage major vessels so you bleed out. It's the same as idiots who shoot themselves with handguns in the temple, you are far more likely to lobotomize yourself then you are to keep yourself.

Looks like his eyes are intact too. If they still work imagine what it must be like to see double at an angle your ears are saying you shouldn't be seeing and your vision wobbling as your eyes bounce around.

First person on the scene should ask him if he wants one more shot or a Doc. Seems humane to give them the choice.

I mean I guess I wouldn't put it past him but like I mean there has to be at least a 50 50 chance here, anything can go south.

this is the kind of ethical dilemma they should teach in med school. is it really any good to "fix" him? wouldn't it be more ethical to find a way to help end his misery? he was already trying to go out, is it really more ethical to patch him back up?
