on a serious note.... the reposts are activly getting reported better than ever now because of bots. the rotten content and the rotten users in chat is purely a user problem and it has been here from the start. if you want to get rid of this, the community needs to band together. wpd as it is now has become so big because of many users from different platforms. at the beginning it was mostly reddit and probably 4chan. but it has now expanded to tiktok and your mom. i think the user problem will get even worse. but i do feel like we need one more EU mod. i don't get why rdrama has so many mods while having a smaller userbase...

There should be STRONG warnings for posting really stupid shit - and there are SO MANY of these idiotic postings lately. Do it again, 3 day ban - third strike you're GONE !
and then a 2 day ban after you post a couple of reposts, and a week ban if you do it again, and then FORCE the idiots to watch 500 videos so they KNOW WHAT IS ON WPD before they can post a video again.

With the amount of stupid shit I see out there every day, it's just fucking ridiculous. It's not even the reposts that bug me any more, but the plain stupid ass little kid bullshit that shows up left and fucking right. They're either kids, or acting like kids, which is just as bad. I'm down for a good joke like anyone else, but for fuck's sake.
The reposts get stupid when the mods won't take it down because it has more information because the tool copy/pasted a few sentences from the internet, or the video has like 3 more pixels in it.
I don't think they want it fixed. They have to see it's a problem, and they don't seem to want to do shit about it.
I'm getting very close to stopping my donations to the site and mostly moving on. If they think the TikTok crowd of children will step up and pay the bills, they're going to be in for an awful surprise.
We'll see what happens if they continue to push out the adults with an IQ over 30. I don't see it ending well. Their choice.

Hear, hear! The last couple of months the problem seems to have accelerated, with more fucking shitposting shitkids bringing in new shitposting shitkids.
I get that moderating is an unappreciated and demanding job, which is why we need more mods. No one is blaming you for anything, you're doing a great job but the burden is too high. Please bring at least
@Skidmarq on board to stem the tide of underage kids posting stupid stuff. Increase the repost time limit to 7 or 13 months to make it less fuzzy (and punish repeated careless/violations), change the underage rule to behaving like you're underage and ban liberally.
There's a great core here, some users are providing quality posts, some even make insightful or useful comments, but there's just sooo much cruft to wade through.

CP is a very broad topic. However I do believe that when the external genitalia are clearly visible it becomes a problem. If censored, it would still be the wrong place here but definately not as bad as this time.

That dox was completely false. Nobody used modmail or used the jannies ping group, yet it still got removed within an hour. Fairly quick, tbh.
It isn't, though. 80% of the time, the queue is fairly empty. There isn't much to do most of the time. The only way to make sure that everything gets resolved quickly, is by letting someone stare at a monitor 24/7. This will never happen as all our mods are doing this 'job' for free. The quickest way to get something down is to use modmail or to ping the jannies directly. Illegal content gets removed fast.
Nevertheless, we are still discussing whether to add another mod.
