as a south african just saying mob justice wouldn't have to be a thing if the police actually did their jobs 🤷🏻‍♀️ not justifying it. i personally know a 15 year old boy who had this happen to him because he stole a cell phone to pay for his car (he did racing where my dad worked) anyways, SAPS are useless and extremely corrupt and half the time won't even bat an eyelid at a situation like this and are too scared to go into townships or are bribed. fucked up country.

I heard about this shit from Disturban. He actually covered the case of the first recorded instance of necklacing, Maki Skosana. Long story short, she was falsely accused through association with a police informant, who'd gotten several anti-apartheid fighters killed in an ambush. Despite the threat to her life, she insisted on being at the funeral for the dead fighters, and the rest is history as they say...

And now the South Africans are begging the white people to come back cause they are incapable of governing themselves. Much like most of Africa. These people are simple and not meant for European civilization.

I hereby propose that 'necklacing' be renamed/reclassified to 'Good-Yearing'. Said victims will go to Good-Year heaven, where the Good-Year mascot repeatedly rapes them with his burning tire-sized phallus for eternity-plus-one-year. Thank you for your consideration.
