In an unfortunate incident, a 40-year-old artist collapsed on stage and died of a suspected heart attack while performing in a Ramleela in Karke village of Garhwa district in Jharkhand. The incident took place on Tuesday evening when the man, identified as Vinod Prajapati, was enacting the role of Parashuram in the play and fell unconscious.

According to Hindustan Times, Prajapati came on the stage, began his act, and then suddenly collapsed in the middle of his performance. In the video doing rounds on social media, Prajapati can be seen standing on the stage and delivering his dialogue, “Dhanush kisne toda? (who broke the bow?)”. Soon after this, he collapsed and remained motionless. Curtains were drawn on the stage and the act ended abruptly.

Fellow artists and local people took him to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

Initially, visitors at Ramleela thought it to be a part his role but as he did not move, the director, crew members and the locals picked rushed to see him, Hindustan Times quoted a local as saying.

In a shocking turn of events, a 20-year-old college student died while participating in a Kabaddi event on Thursday in Mumbai's Malad. The student's body was taken by Malad police and taken to Shatabdi hospital for an autopsy. While there is no clarification regarding the cause of death, reports say that the deceased suffered a heart attack.

According to the information received, the Kabaddi tournament was organized in the Love Garden of Municipal Corporation in Malad West through Mittal College on Thursday. Karthik was playing when a Kabaddi match was going on between Akash College vs Mittal College. He went to touch an opposite team player across the deadline against Akash College when he was caught by the opposition.

Reportedly, Kirthik was walking outside the boundary line after getting out, when he suddenly collapsed. Players from both teams tried to bring Kirthik back to his senses, but he remained unconscious.

The deceased was immediately taken to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.

Michael "Mad Mike" Hughes was an amateur rocket builder and daredevil. In 2016 he started a fundraising campaign, claiming to be a flat Earther seeking to prove that the world is flat by flying one of his steam powered rockets into the atmosphere. These wild claims and stunts earned Mike the attention of the producers of the Science Channel TV show Homemade Astronauts. On February 22, 2020 Hughes was set to launch his home-made rocket when disaster struck; the emergency parachute included in the rocket was destroyed by the force of the launch, leaving Hughes with no safe way out of the rocket when it enviably crashed. Hughes was instantly killed when the rocket hit the ground.

After Hughes death, his PR team claimed that he was never a true Flat Earther and only claimed to be in order to gain funding for his project. Homemade Astronauts, the show in which Hughes was a major contestant was cancelled after four episodes since they couldn't continue filming after his death.

On a Monday afternoon in February 2020, 42 year old Sarah Boone called police to report that she’d found her boyfriend, 42 year old Jorge Torres Jr, dead in a suitcase.

She claimed that on the previous evening they had been drinking wine, doing puzzles, and playing hide and seek when she convinced Jorge to climb into the suitcase, but after, she says, she fell asleep by mistake.

Sarah’s account would be contradicted by a video police found on her phone which showed her taunting Jorge while he struggled to breath inside the suitcase.

Witnesses claimed that it wasn’t unusual to hear Sarah and Jorge fighting, and both had been previously arrested for assaulting one another.

In 2018, Sarah was arrested for strangling Jorge, who claimed he had to fight her off to avoid dying. Sarah said it happened because Jorge hit her in the eye for talking to another man.

Jorge’s autopsy suggested he had suffocated inside the suitcase for 11 hours.

He had cuts and bruises all over his body.

Sarah Boone was charged with second-degree murder. Her trial is set to begin in November, 2022.

Police say several suspects have died since the 1999 massacre.
