That was really dumb. The cop had the perfect opportunity for multiple leg shots - yes, I know cops are told only to shoot center mass. But still, this is obviously not the same kind of situation where a complete lunatic charges the cop.

I'm all for cops shooting all the undesirable people in the country. Homeless, mentally ill, or a drug addict = death sentence. The quality of life would improve for everyone.

I have zero sympathy for anyone upsetting the peace like this but if you're going to shoot so early, surely you'd at least try and aim for a leg. Also, if you want to die, do it without affecting others. None of these mentally ill people have an ounce of decency in their final moments.
