Even if they're missing their head they're gonna cuff 'em. They're not medical professionals and it's safer for everyone to just cuff them instead of making a judgement call for what, their dignity? They've got a fist sized hole in them, who cares if they're cuffed.

I'm aligning with this comment, the guy was trying to reach for a gun, or at least blatantly ignoring the "I'm going to shoot you if you..." so who cares? Are the cops losing dignity if they do something unnecessary after doing something horribly necessary? I say cut em a break, it's not like theyre pissing on the wound to disinfect it
